An Ambitious Refillable Wine Bottle Venture

Danko notes, "The company has landed on a bottle design and some 40 wineries are committed to the program. The Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative, which operates the Bottle Bill, is set to work with Revino on returning used bottles." He also highlights their intention to circulate 2.4 million reusable bottles next year through Oregon wineries. Danko also reveals the sustainability impact the company hopes to make, noting Oregon wineries sold 24 million bottles of wine in the state last year, and Revino's reusable bottles break even on carbon emissions after the third use with the potential to be reused up to 50 times.
